Character design

I have made several versions from this character. He is supposed to be the main protagonist in the story im trying to put together.

The creative process

This is something that is often overlooked in the planning stage. People are rushing their ideas on paper and start polishing the fine details at the same time to get anything that they had originally intended.
By creating a number of fast-paced sketches, or "thumbnails" you can sort out the bad apples, and having the most interesting design to the finished state of the work.

Primal feelings

These are my most recent works. Most of my summer went working my ass off so I could´t do anything creative. I managed to pull these pics off about week before school started so I´m pretty pleased with outcome.
I started with the horned satyr creature and kept going with "primal fears and feelings" theme.

Reaching for the stars!

So I desided to start dumping my sketches, unfinished pieces, studies and everything that is going on with me here in this blog. Dungbeetle reaching for the stars seemed more than fit to symbolize my goals.
